The Wipe Schedule - Stability & Longevity
Our goal is an active server for the whole month.
Map Wipe: Monthly on Force Wipe (the first Thursday of every month).
Blueprint (BP) Wipe: NEVER. Your research progress is permanent.
Conditional "Refresh" Wipes: To keep things fresh (with community oversight), the map may be wiped on a Friday at 6:00 PM CET if the population is under 10 players at 5:00 PM CET.
Our Unique Skin System: Permanent Unlocks for Your Time
We've created a fair and rewarding system that respects Facepunch's new ToS and our players' dedication.
Earn Points: You get 1 Point for every 1 hour of playtime.
Unlock Skins Permanently: Use your points in /shop to purchase high-quality, custom workshop skins. Once unlocked, a skin is yours forever.
Lifetime Rewards: Your points and your unlocked skins never reset. They are a permanent reward for your loyalty.
Fresh Content: We add new, curated workshop skins to the shop every week.
This isn't pay-to-win. This is play-to-own, rewarding your time on the server.
Current Server Settings (Subject to Community Vote!):
Here's our current setup, which serves as a great baseline. Don't like something? Join the Discord and suggest a change!
Rates: 2x Gather (1.5x for Sulfur), 2x Scrap
Stacks: 2x Stack sizes for resources, components, ammo, and meds.
QoL: Faster Crafting, Quick Smelt, and short 5-minute nights.
Loot Tables: Junk items removed from crates, more loot.
Sign Artist: /sil is available for custom images.
What we DON'T have (and likely never will):
To keep the game skill-based, we have NO Teleport, NO Homes, NO Kits, NO /remove, and NO VIP packages.
Our Commitment & Rules
We are dedicated to this as a long-term project. Our admins are active, non-playing, and here to support the community, not dictate it. Our rules are straightforward and designed to foster a competitive but fair environment (full list at rustodyssey.com/rules).
